NORAM Electrolysis Systems Inc (NESI) is pleased to announce the opening of its new North American NORSCAND® Electrolyser Assembly Centre in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. This facility will be an integral part of NESI’s overall supply chain to deliver industrial scale electrolysis plants for sustainable battery grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LHM) production worldwide.
At full capacity, the assembly center will assemble and ship NORSCAND® electrolysers worldwide at a pace to support 100,000 TPY of new LHM production capacity every year. This new facility will ensure that NESI can continue to support current and future customers deliver industrial scale lithium production and recycling facilities based on NESI’s NORSCAND® Electrolysis processes and equipment for the sustainable production of battery grade LHM.
NESI’s new NORSCAND® Electrolyser Assembly Centre builds upon NESI’s Lithium Electrolysis Test Centre which recently received funding support from Natural Resources Canada through the Critical Minerals Research Development and Demonstration Wave 2 program and further advances NESI’s full industrialization strategy for lithium electrolysis technologies.
